Tecstone Granite based in Columbus OH is one of the largest Granite Monument wholesalers in the USA. Established in 1987, it has an exciting and strong family culture and sense of passion to serve our customers and families with serve through our production of granite memorials and monuments. This role reports directly to the President. It is a part-time on-site position. This roleis responsible for assisting the entire campus at Tecstone and the Executive leadership team through administrative support and maintaining a well-run office. This role works as critical representative of the company as they are often the first face and voice to interact with clients and customers outside of our team. They would always exemplify a high level of professionalism. This position will contribute to the attainment of specific goals through the support of leadership.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Support the Executive Leadership team in scheduling meetings, team events, travel arrangements, expense reports, town halls and many other cross functional company efforts that require organizational support.
  • Be an essential role as manager of first impressions at Tecstone.
  • Welcome all visitors that come in the front door. Offer tea, coffee and refreshments and make them comfortable.
  • Order all stationery, cleaning and kitchen supplies as required.
  • Maintain the front Lobby and kitchen area in a high standard of presentation.
  • Oversee all vendors that play a role in campus building upkeep and light maintenance (ex. office cleaning contractors, food suppliers, office furniture vendors, office supply vendors)
  • Arrange team meals and food for staff when required.
  • Maintain or reconfigure office space and offices as new associates join the team.
  • Assist the HR Manager in all areas of onboarding new associates.
  • Ensures / Enforces an organized and tidy workplace

Leadership Support :

  • Supports the CEO, President and HOD team.
  • Manage task lists and follow up on over-due tasks.
  • Coordinates company meetings and travel when needed.
  • Takes notes for meetings as needed.
  • Assists leadership team by scheduling meetings and appointments.
  • Experience

  • 5 years experience in Office management or related field
  • Administrative background
  • Trustworthy with confidential information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Outlook / Calendar organization
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : This job operates within a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job inside the office, the employee is frequently exposed to normal working conditions for an office environment with a noise level that is usually quiet to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and cabinets.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT : This job operates within a professional office environment.

    WORK SCHEDULE : Monday-Friday between the hours of 9AM-3PM.
