TedlaVIP Health Rides is seeking an experienced and dedicated Human Resources Specialist to support our growing team. As a pivotal member of our organization, you will play a key role in recruiting, onboarding, and managing the team that drives our mission of providing exceptional transportation services to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Staffing:
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract top talent, including drivers and administrative roles.
- Conduct interviews, screen candidates, and manage the hiring process.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries.
- Foster a positive and professional workplace culture aligned with our mission and values.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws, including 1099 contractor regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and certifications.
- Training & Development:
- Coordinate onboarding and training programs for new hires.
- Implement strategies for ongoing employee growth and performance improvement.
- HR Operations:
- Manage bi-weekly payroll processing for 1099 contractors.
- Oversee HR software and systems to streamline administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2 years of experience in HR or a similar role. Experience with 1099 contractors is a plus.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with HRIS systems and recruiting platforms is preferred.
