We are seeking an Industrial Engineer for our Salisbury, North Carolina Plant.
Specific Job Duties :
- Write system operation procedures in BOS format.
- Recommend equipment improvements, or manufacturing methods, which would result in improved quality or greater efficiency.
- Coordinate all mechanical / electrical system modifications with external vendors, maintenance personnel and Facility Engineering Manager.
- Organize and maintain all system documentation (i.e. mechanical / electrical prints, software documentation and backups, path problems, robot configuration parameters, configuration parameters.
- Outline maintenance practices for automated systems. In addition, maintain software programs for automated systems.
- Design and implement software, electrical and mechanical automated system enhancements.
- Support and assist maintenance personnel with diagnosing software and electrical system problems.
- Support multiple PLC and electrical controlled automated systems.
- Design, implement and support all human machine interface (HMI) hardware and software for automated systems.
Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study.
