Job Title: Cisco UC Sr. Engineer
Location: Oklahoma City, OK (Onsite during phone rollouts)
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Cisco UC Sr. Engineer to support a large-scale Cisco VoIP phone deployment, replacing a legacy Avaya system. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in Cisco Unified Communications, voice gateways, and large-scale migrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site support for Cisco VoIP phone deployments.
- Configure and manage Cisco voice gateways and enterprise switches.
- Troubleshoot Cisco IP Telephony and VoIP-related issues.
- Lead the in-house Cisco VOIP phone system deployment.
- Serve as escalation support for technical issues.
- Perform site assessments, backend provisioning, and best practices implementation for Cisco Call Manager.
- Assist in migrating 15K phones from Avaya to Cisco Voice.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Senior-level experience in large-scale Cisco UC migrations.
- Strong understanding of Cisco Call Manager and VoIP best practices.
- Expertise in site surveys, hands-on hardware deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with enterprise switch configurations related to voice deployments.
- Familiarity with medical equipment integrations, including:
- Oxygen tanks
- Fax systems
- MRI trucks
- Valcom paging
- SPOK SIP trunking
- Nurse call systems
Additional Information:
- Must be comfortable working on-site in Oklahoma City during phone rollouts.
- This role involves hands-on work and requires someone experienced in Cisco VoIP migrations at an enterprise level.
