Description
We are looking to bring in a 12 month Telecommunications Engineer consultant who's experienced with Telecommunications and Unified Communications Technician to join our team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunications systems and video conference systems to meet the needs of our organization. Comfortable bringing in someone who has 1-2 years of experience too as long as they have the Teams dialing and good customer interface experience.

1. Design, configure, and deploy telecommunications systems, including PBX, VoIP, and SIP trunking solutions.
2. Install, troubleshoot, and maintain telecommunication hardware and software, such as telephone handsets, gateways, routers, and switches.
3. Perform system upgrades, patches, and firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
4. Monitor telecommunications infrastructure for performance issues and proactively address potential bottlenecks or failures.
5. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users experiencing telecommunications and unified communications-related issues.
6. Collaborate with network engineers and system administrators to integrate telecommunications systems with existing IT infrastructure.
7. Implement and manage unified communications platforms, including instant messaging, video conferencing, and collaboration tools.
8. Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
9. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in telecommunications and unified communications technologies.
10. Participate in project planning and execution, including system upgrades, expansions, and migrations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
