What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tier 2 Technical Support position at TEKsystems?
Job Description
- Provide Tier II and Tier III support to all internal/external customer and sales pertaining to the network, devices, software, and firmware.
- Serve as the liaison for the company and it's Critical Customers and Vendors
- Interact with Engineering/IS to assist with the development and implementation of new products and services as they relate to Customer Solutions and provide feedback to Product Development and Sales on functionality of new subscriber units and features.
- Support and assist to resolve all advanced customer issues with the following products: Android, Harris, Catalyst, Orbit Routers, Bec Routers, Advance Tec
- Willing to travel up to 50%
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Tier II tech support - troubleshooting systems, networks, devices. Open to any industry but experience in the telecommunication industry (T Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, etc.) is preferred
- Experience interacting and assisting customers/clients in person
- Experience with troubleshooting devices (walkie talkies, phones, tablets, computers, etc.) remotely and in person
- Tech savvy individual with proficient technical knowledge
- Willing to travel up to 50%
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday; 8am - 5pm
Willing to travel up to 50%
Available to be On-Call as needed

The pay range for this position is $29.81 - $41.87
