Job Title: Jr. Manufacturing Engineer/Estimator (Entry-Level)
Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
Location: Bay Shore, NY (Onsite)
Position Summary:
Assist in estimating manufacturing costs by reviewing proposals, blueprints, and specifications. Prepare Bill of Materials, labor and material estimates, and Source Approval Request (SAR) packages for customer approval.
Responsibilities:
- Review drawings to develop Bills of Materials and manufacturing methods.
- Prepare cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Obtain pricing for materials and services.
- Develop job cost estimates and submit detailed bid packages.
- Monitor and maintain bid lists for SAR packages.
Education/Experience:
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's in engineering preferred.
- Entry-level experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems (preferred).
- Ability to read blueprints and CAD models.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate pricing and terms.
Physical Requirements:
- Primarily office-based with occasional lifting of light materials.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
