Recycling Area Operator
OVERVIEW
Seeking a jack of all trades to keep work areas in order. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintenance aptitude
- Maintenance and service equipment when required, and possibly trucks
- Grease and lube boxes, trucks, loader, etc. as required
- Maintenance and service equipment when required
- Direct traffic as needed
- Perform routine property maintenance
- Sort and Place solid waste in transfer containers or trucks
- Remove recyclable materials, as needed
- Move recyclables to an appropriate area, as needed
- Keep machinery and working areas clean
- Adhere to safety rules
- May be asked to assist in other areas of property
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Valid license, CDL is preferred – Minimal Off-site trucking
- Forklift experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Physically fit, able to lift 50lbs
- Ability to stand and walk an 8 hour shift
- Medium Sized Loader Experience
- Must be responsible, a good communicator, and have excellent attendance
WORK HOURS/SHIFT
- 8:30am to 4:30pm
- M-F 40 hours a week
LOCATION
- Clinton
WAGE
- $20 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
