SUMMARY: During training, these hours may varyUnder direct supervision of the Departmental Director and coordination of Division Director Student and Enrollment Services the incumbent will perform a variety of administrative and staff support duties directly related to testing facilitation. An accompanying range of office skills and procedures and knowledge of organizational policies and procedures is required. Assists and directs students and visitors and helps resolve administrative problems and inquiries both internal and external to the office. Composes, edits, and proofreads correspondence and reports and prepares a wide range of administrative and departmental documents. This position will assist with testing at all centers, and at the high school as needed.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
A Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years of directly related work experience, or an Associate’s Degree with four (4) years of related work experience. Part-time work experience will be pro-rated and, in total, must equal the number of years of directly related work experience.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of computerized and manual standardized testing protocol, guidelines, procedures, and standards.Knowledge and understanding of pre-testing and post-testing security standards and procedures. SKILLS: Receptionist skills which includes answering telephones, greeting individuals, providing correct information regarding the Testing Center. .Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.Organizing and coordinating skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. ABILITIES: Ability to complete moderately complex administrative paperwork.Ability to maintain appropriate testing facilities and aids.Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Ability to develop and deliver presentations.WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Wednesday 3:00 pm to 8:00 pmThursday 3:30 pm to 8:00 pmOccasional weekends.During training, these hours may varyThis is an on-site position. Essential duties of the role must be performed in-person, during prescribed work hours.
