What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director - Research Compliance and Integrity position at Temple Health – Temple University Health System?
The primary duty of the Director of Research Integrity and Compliance (DRIC) is to assure that clinical research at FCCC is conducted in accordance with Institutional requirements, state law, and federal regulations in the areas of human subject's protections, conflict of interest disclosure and management, good clinical practice compliance, and scientific misconduct. This position includes responsibility for investigation and resolution of research compliance issues, maintenance of research compliance policies and procedures, providing regulatory guidance and advice on research compliance matters, conducting or coordinating focused training and education on research compliance, and maintaining FCCC's AAHRP accreditation. The DRIC reports to the Vice President of Research.
Education
Bachelors Degree: in related field (Required)
Masters Degree: in related field (Preferred)
Experience
5 Years experience in developing and conducting training in compliance and integrity (Required)
5 Years Experience In Writing Policies And Procedures (Required)
5 Years experience with demonstrated knowledge of federal guidelines and regulations related to research compliance (Required)
7 Years experience working in a University or Hospital research administration environment (Required)
7 Years experience working in one or more research compliance areas (i.e., human subject's protection, COI, GCP, etc.) (Required)
License/Certifications
CHC - Cert Healthcare Compliance (Preferred)
CIP - Cert IRB Professional (Preferred)
