What are the responsibilities and job description for the PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (FT; 40hrs/wk) - Temple Health/Fox Chase Cancer Center position at Temple Health – Temple University Health System?
Assists the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications to patients and patient care areas. Identifies, prepares, packages, labels and delivers medications, including sterile products (includes chemotherapy), under the supervision of a pharmacist.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Trade School: Pharmacy Technician Training Program (Preferred)
Experience
General Experience in an accredited hospital pharmacy technician training program or equivalent combination of education and experience (Preferred)
License/Certifications
CPHT - Certified Pharmacy Technician (Preferred)
