Responsibilities
- Process payroll for employees accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Prepare payroll- related tax returns and reports and ensuring timely submission to authorities
- Compile financial information to be used by management
- Reconcile end of period bank accounts
- Prepare various general accounting entries
- Ensure correctness in all financial records
- Provide insights for budgeting process, financial planning, and decision making
- Work with external auditors and provide required information
- Analyze payroll data for discrepancies or errors and take corrective actions as necessary
- Other Accounting assistance as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Background in accounting or financial role
- Extensive experience in payroll processing utilizing ADP
- Experience managing employee benefits
- Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets
- Adaptable to technology changes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to review and interpret financial information
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented mindset with proven organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
- Strong integrity and ethical standards
- Responsible, accountable, and effectively able to manage stressful situations
