Position: Venue Sales Manager
Department: Stadium Administration
Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Senior Manager, Venue Programming
Status: Full-Time (Exempt)
Position Summary
The Venue Sales Manager will be responsible for the booking of external and internal private events on Bank of America Stadium’s campus, as well as helping oversee the stadium’s calendar. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Venue Programming.
Primary Responsibilities
Administrate the event calendar and help manage the overall Bank of America Stadium schedule
Act as the main point of contact for all private event booking inquiries, including but not limited to corporate events, special events, sponsor events, community and non-profit events, birthday parties, and tours
Create proposals for prospective private events, to include cost estimates and floor plans
Schedule and execute site visits with prospective private events
Collaborate with Senior Manager, Venue Programming and legal department on creating and executing private event contracts
Collect client payments and close out events, in collaboration with Senior Manager, Venue Programming and finance department
Collect and submit private event invoices for payment, accurately tracking expenses and allocating them to the correct event
Manage internal space usage, including but not limited to TSE hosted events, internal meetings, production shoots, team practices, entertainment rehearsals, press conferences, and vendor trainings
Manage relationships with department’s event softwares (Momentus Elite, Social Tables) and local vendors
Collect and review post-event surveys from private event clients, dispersing feedback to other departments and vendors as needed
Participate in networking events and calls with the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA), Greater Charlotte Hospitality & Tourism Alliance, Stadium Special Event Group, the International Special Events Society (ILEA), and other organizations as needed
Attend weekly Event Operations meetings, BEO meetings, vendor meetings, and other meetings as assigned
Create and disperse weekly event reports for TSE staff and leadership
Participate in the stadium’s budgeting process
Special projects as assigned by the Senior Manager, Venue Programming
Actively participate in executing private, internal and major events as needed
Additional related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Sport Management, Sales, or related field
At least 5 years of full-time private event sales and/or venue programming experience
Working knowledge of current special event trends
Demonstrated high-level customer service experience
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must pass pre-employment screenings
Must be able to work flexible, non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Momentus Elite and Social Tables is preferred, but not required
Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification preferred
Experience in events sales at a high-profile area or stadium if preferred

Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment and outside in a stadium facility. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc. This position works a minimum of 40 hours per week.
