Job Summary
Terminal Consolidation Co. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Bayer Crop Science in Kansas City, MO. This in-person role is crucial to ensuring the smooth coordination of transportation operations, specifically focusing on the movement of empty supplier ISO containers and maintaining efficient communication with suppliers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to self-start and manage various tasks within the supply chain.
Responsibilities
- * * Coordinate transportation logistics for empty supplier ISO containers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- * * Maintain effective and proactive cross-cultural communication with international and domestic suppliers to address any issues or disruptions in the supply chain.
- * * Quickly assess and resolve any supply chain disruptions, demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- * * Support other supply chain-related tasks as needed, expanding knowledge and skills across various supply chain functions.
- * * Support the scale house with shipping documents for the weekly shipment of key materials in ISO containers.
- * * Develop and maintain relationships with transportation vendors and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and efficiency
