The Position
We are seeking an experienced commercial construction Project Manager (PM) to join our Tenant Interiors (TI) Team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects from onset through completion.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of multiple construction projects to ensure objectives are met.
- Estimate, budget, manage budgets, and schedule development, permitting, construction, and project closeout.
- Prepare owner contracts, trade partner contracts, submittals, RFIs, and pre-construction paperwork as necessary.
- Procure trade contractors, materials, and suppliers to ensure project milestones and completion dates are met.
- Lead meetings, provide detailed documentation of meeting minutes, and track the overall construction schedule.
- Communicate effectively with owners, building management, design teams, team members, coworkers, trade partners, and suppliers to maintain efficient and organized projects.
- Adhere to and promote Terra's Safety and Quality Control practices and policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction engineering, civil engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience managing commercial construction projects with a proven record of successful outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Project, Procore, and CMIC software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
