Job Overview:
We are growing and looking for a reliable Assembler for our Knopp division. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, hourly position, 8 hours a day plus possible overtime. We are looking for candidates who can keep up with the demands of the job while paying close attention to detail and quality.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Read and understand simple instructions and diagrams.
- Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the assembling process.
- Take precise measurements to ensure perfect fit of components.
- Assemble parts and products based on physical and digital designs with the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Work with a team to assemble products on the production floor.
- Maintain equipment in good condition.
- Keep records of production quantities and time.
- Report on issues, malfunctions or defective parts.
- Maintain inventory and place orders for more supplies as needed.
- Minimize waste by conserving materials and resources.
- Maintain a clean workspace.
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with your supervisors and teammates.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and other safety gear for daily operation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Reliable and prompt in attendance.
- Productive in fast-paced environments.
- Experienced in operating hand tools and power tools.
- Able to read drawings and instructions.
- Able to handle fragile materials.
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
