- Development of project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate with the project superintendents to establish project objectives, deliverables, and timelines
- Collaborate with the design team, architects, and engineers to review plans, specifications, and drawings
- Identify and address potential project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports
- Document project activities, site conditions, and quality control procedures
- Generate regular status reports and updates for project stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, local authorities, and industry standards
- Oversee and monitor construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, including procurement of materials and equipment
- Track site execution and inspections to ensure work is performed according to safety guidelines and quality standards
- Resolve construction-related issues and provide technical guidance to the project team
- Expedite solutions to design clashes while coordinating with design team for best path forward
- Monitor project costs and expenses, comparing actuals against the budget
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest value engineering alternatives
- Track and review subcontractor invoices and change orders
- Participate in project budget reviews and forecasting activities
- Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Conduct regular project meetings to discuss progress, milestones, and upcoming activities
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment to ensure smooth project execution
- Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise during the construction process
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience managing construction projects in large manufacturing/industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, codes, regulations, and safety protocols
- Proficiency in project management software and design tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Confident in decision making ability and coordinating among key stakeholders
- Project will require long hours, looking for ambitious and tenacious team members
