Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operational requests and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Plan and execute major network refresh initiatives
- Lead new network build-out projects (wired, wireless, public/private cellular)
- Support IT construction initiatives and infrastructure expansion
- Improve and maintain network operations processes for consistency
- Enhance network automation and monitoring capabilities
- Manage vendor relationships for maintenance and new builds
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership
- Serve as an escalation point for critical network issues
- Maintain safety compliance and be comfortable with extensive on-site walking
Requirements
- 5 years of Network Management experience
- 5 years of Network Engineering experience
- Extensive experience in IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols (spanning-tree, OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, end to end QOS, VLAN, VRRP, LACP, MC-LAG, EVPN with VXLAN, ACL, application flow, NAC, and infrastructure cabling
- Extensive experience with multi-vendor switching technologies including Juniper, Arista, and Cisco
- Experience with multi-vendor wireless technologies including Aruba and Mist
- Experience with Juniper SRX, Palo Alto Networks, and Fortinet internal firewall services
- Experience with various tools such as Protocol Analyzer, SNMP, Netflow, IPAM, RADIUS, Splunk, network taps, and load/stress testing
- Experience with developing scripts to automate infrastructure deployment and collect metrics
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
