What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operational Lead, Rental Policy & Strategy position at Tesla Motors?
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to support the company's growing project management needs for a business development organization, focusing on Tesla Rental. Applicants must be highly organized and confident in their ability to streamline processes and understand policy for rental car growth. Ideal candidate has experience growing a rental car company with knowledge of legal policy, zoning, licensing, insurance and tax implications.
Responsibilities
- Support the team on launching a rental program within Tesla Collision sites in new states
- Document and communicate areas of opportunity and process improvements for the greater team
- Work with legal, zoning, and permitting to understand requirements and prepare for launch
- Support the launch with training, travel, or operations for collision customers, direct to consumer rentals, and airports
- Ready to support any new project that will provide cost saving benefits to the collision team and prepare business cases to justify
- Lead business cases and thorough analysis ahead of any new project or business vertical launch
- Work with tax teams to implement logic or software for proper billing

68,000 - $222,000 / annual salary cash and stock awards benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
