The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of Facilities Systems, including maintenance tasks related to landscaping, snow removal, and general maintenance. They will be expected to supervise a team of technicians including hiring, training, and developing staff to meet performance expectations.This position is an overnight role.
Responsibilities
- Provide training, mentoring, performance improvement and career development to technicians
- Responsible for planning, supervision and coordinating one or more shifts in the operation and maintenance of Electrical, Mechanical, Water, Wastewater, Chemical and Bulk Gas distribution systems
- Champion and reinforce a safety culture in all aspects of the work
- Develop Pre-Task Plans, permits (SIPP, Hot Work, Line Break), LOTO, and EHS reviews, as necessary
- Be comfortable in having difficult conversations, when needed
- Be aware of and immediately report conflicts and / or issues between team members
Requirements
Proven experience (3 - 5 years preferred) as maintenance supervisor or similar roleDemonstrated extensive experience (10 years) and strong technical knowledge with facility systems troubleshooting, maintenance, and shift supervision supporting a 24 / 7 manufacturing operation that includes mechanical (chillers, cooling towers, boilers, compressors, air handling units), gas / chemical systems, water, and industrial wastewater systems, as well as electrical distribution and control systemsDemonstrated experience driving and maintaining a zero-accident safety culture that includes (PPE) and LOTO protocols and managing emergency response teamsAbility to obtain OSHA 30 & Hazwoper 40A commitment to excellence with regard to quality workExcellent listening skills, organizational skills, and strong communications skillsAble to lift up to 60 lbs., work at elevations up to 50 ft. and stand and / or walk for 10 hours per dayAbility to command the english language, both written and verbalCompensation and Benefits

Supervisor Manufacturing - $68,000 - $102,000 / annual salarycash and stock awards benefitsPay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
