Your tasks

We are looking for a skilled Service Technician to join our U.S. team, supporting the deployment and maintenance of our state-of-the-art microbiological testing solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced food safety testing equipment. You will provide hands-on technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure our customers receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities :

Plan and implement service assignments efficiently.
Provide excellent customer service and technical support, responding to inquiries via phone and email.
Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and system installations.
Install, commission, and test microbiological testing equipment.
Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose technical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide feedback on equipment performance and customer needs.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company service protocols.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a technician, electrician, or mechanic with expertise in assembling or repairing analyzers or technical devices.

Strong background in mechanical engineering and technical expertise in areas such as variable frequency drives, motors, and basic AC / DC systems.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues. Experience with diagnostic tools, calibration, and repair techniques for precision equipment.

Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Ability to lift and transport heavy equipment.

Your profile

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technician, electrician, or mechanic with expertise in assembling or repairing analyzers or technical devices.

Ability to lift and transport heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Flexibility and willingness to travel up to 50% across the U.S. and Canada.

Independent and self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with the metric system.
