Your tasks
As a Service Technician at Testo bioAnalytics, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our products. You will combine technical expertise with customer interaction to guarantee that our advanced microbiological measurement devices perform at their best. Based in Sparta, NY, your work will span across the United States and Canada, making you a crucial partner for our clients in the food industry.
- Device Maintenance and Repair: Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs of microbiological testing devices, ensuring both electrical and mechanical components operate efficiently.
- Customer Training: Provide on-site training to clients, enabling them to use equipment effectively and independently.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance checks and proactively identify and address potential technical issues.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical problems, recommending appropriate service and maintenance solutions.
- Inventory Management: Manage parts ordering and maintain an organized inventory for repairs and installations.

Your profile
- Experience and Expertise: At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a technician, electrician, or mechanic, ideally with analyzers or technical devices.
- Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of mechanical engineering, electronics, and basic AC/DC systems. Experience with variable frequency drives and motor technology is a strong asset. Familiarity with the metric system is beneficial for precise technical work.
- Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering outstanding service with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to clients.
- Flexibility and Travel Readiness: Willing and able to travel up to 50% across the U.S. and Canada.
