Senior Environmental Program Manager

The Senior Environmental Program Director is a seller-doer role that will lead strategy, development, capture, and execution of environmental projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in environmental services, such as site investigation, risk assessment, remediation; due diligence, and environmental compliance, and in business development including developing new clients and winning new projects. This position will report to operations in Tampa, with remote work as a possibility. This position requires the employee to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.

Your Role:

•    Establish and develop new private sector commercial/industrial and municipal client accounts.
•    Fill private and municipal sector opportunities pipeline with significant bid opportunities and winning record.
•    Lead the development and delivery of sales presentations to prospective clients.  
•    Prepare proposals, manage projects, and perform technical work as necessary, balancing sales and utilization.
•    Assemble and lead teams to effectively and efficiently pursue and win work, and complete projects on time and within budget in accordance with client expectations and regulatory guidelines. 
•    Develop and implement growth strategies to increase client base for a broad range of integrated consulting services. 
•    Identify and nurture strategic partnerships for major projects.
•    Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

•    BS degree in engineering, science or a related technical field is required. Advanced degree is preferred.
•    15 years of experience in environmental consulting with at least ten years of experience in program/project management, business development, and strategic planning focused on the private sector.

•    Must have existing client relationships in the private sector and a proven track record of winning work.
•    Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment.
•    Professional registration, i.e., Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG) is preferred. PMP Certification a plus.
