Job Description:
Tetra Tech, Inc. is implementing the USAID-funded Climate Adaptation Support Activity (CASA) and is currently accepting expressions of interest for future Green Climate Fund Support Experts.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Assistance for USAID on GCF Programming
- Develop GCF readiness initiatives and implement them.
- Prepare and submit GCF full-size project proposals focusing on climate adaptation.
- Evaluate GCF projects/programs.
- Support DAEs in advancing their accreditation processes.
- Guidance for USAID on GCF Secretariat Engagement
- Provide strategic advice on GCF secretariat policies, processes, and collaboration opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience working with the GCF.
- Experience working with countries to advance GCF proposals and assist DAEs with accreditation processes.
- Prior experience with GCF's work in fragile/conflict-affected states, humanitarian settings, and social/environmental safeguards procedures is preferred.
- Desirable: knowledge of USAID and familiarity with USAID's Program Cycle.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
- Demonstrated workshop and meeting facilitation abilities.
- Ability to travel internationally.
