The Research Engineer I will support various activities related to ABS-funded research projects, OESI activities, and the MKO Conference.
Responsibilities:
The Mary Kay O’Connor Process Safety Center (MKOPSC) focuses on research to enhance safety in the chemical process industry. The center conducts research and develops undergraduate, graduate and continuing education programs. Its services to government and industry include independent accident investigation and analysis services, particularly for accidents suggesting new phenomena or complex technologies.

Job Description
Purpose:
The Research Engineer I will support various activities related to ABS-funded research projects, OESI activities, and the MKO Conference.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with ABS-funded research projects related to Carbon storage and sequestration and Ammonia.
- Support Ocean Energy Safety Institute (OESI) activities.
- Contribute to the planning and preparation of the Mary Kay O'Connor Process Safety Center (MKO) Conference.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- No experience.
- Main Campus – College Station, TX.
