The Environmental and Occupational Health Department and Center for Worker Health (CWH) Administrative Coordinator II coordinates administrative support to the department and research center faculty, staff, and students and works under the general supervision of the Administrator I. Assists with the day-to-day operations within the department and CWH.

Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Three years of experience in office administration
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment. Interpersonal and communication skills. Planning and organization skills
Knowledge of TAMU systems : AggieBuy, Faculty 180, Canopy, CONCUR / EMBURSE, Qualtrics, iPayments, Adobe Sign, Astra
Responsibilities :
Administrative Office Support - Performs responsibilities in support of the department and CWH including but not limited to coordinating the maintenance and purchasing of office supplies and equipment, maintains office reference materials including online office materials, delivers and picks up documents, supplies, equipment, or materials. Greets department visitors, answers and screens calls, provides general information and referrals, and schedules appointments, reserves visitor parking. Receives, sorts, and routes mail and performs other mail services.
Administrative Faculty & Staff Support - Formulates, interprets, and communicates policies and procedures and serves as a resource for answering policy questions. Coordinates arrangements for meetings, student events, workshops, and travel. Performs data entry and retrieval and maintains data files. Reviews and signs documents for supervisor. Attends meetings or committees on behalf of supervisor. Prepares and proofs materials for reports and other publications. Processes reimbursement requests through the appropriate channels and follow through to completion. Assists in developing and printing flyers / brochures for recruiting and advertising for all EOH programs and the CWH. Additionally, coordinates and posts activities to social media and websites to promote events and engage with the community.
Event Coordination & Planning - Coordinates the planning and managing of events of varying sizes related to the department and CWH including establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and venues, planning event details and aspects, including seating, dining, and guests. Managing events and addressing potential problems that may arise. Planning for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the event. Providing support at on-campus and off-campus events including event set-up and registration check-in. Liaising with faculty, staff, students, and others concerning their participation in events.
Supervisory - Supervises, trains, and evaluates the works of others including student workers and other support staff.
