Position Overview:
We are seeking an Experienced Remodeling & Water Mitigation Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in remodeling, restoration, and water mitigation projects, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Perform remodeling and mitigation work, including drywall, flooring, carpentry, painting, and water extraction.
- Follow industry standards (IICRC, EPA, OSHA) for water damage mitigation and mold remediation.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and mitigation equipment safely and efficiently.
- Accurately document job progress, including before-and-after photos.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all job sites.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and project managers.
- Drive company vehicles to job sites and deliver necessary materials.
Requirements:
✅ Minimum 1 year of experience in remodeling and/or water mitigation (3 years preferred).
✅ Must pass a background check.
✅ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (must provide MVR upon request).
✅ Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
✅ Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends and emergency response shifts.
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- IICRC Certifications (WRT, FSRT, AMRT) are a plus but not required.
- Experience with insurance restoration projects and Xactimate estimating.
- Knowledge of EPA RRP Lead-Safe practices.
