Texas Instruments is actively seeking an Payroll Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for the U.S. Payroll function including the areas of compensation/benefits, employee relations and Time and Attendance support. As an Payroll Assistant, you will be responsible for U.S. Payroll Operations including processing U.S. payroll, resolving employee pay issues, supporting the U.S. Time and Attendance system, collaborating with HR Operations and collecting overpayments.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for the U.S. Payroll function including the areas of compensation/benefits, employee relations and Time and Attendance support. As an Payroll Assistant, you will be responsible for U.S. Payroll Operations including processing U.S. payroll, resolving employee pay issues, supporting the U.S. Time and Attendance system, collaborating with HR Operations and collecting overpayments.
Primary Responsibilities
- Process payroll for current employees
- Proactively resolve pay discrepancies
- Maintain and update employee payroll data
- Timely response to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and concerns by phone, email or Cherwell tickets
- Safeguard and manage confidential information
- Research former employees pay and benefits claims
- Detect and process issues related to uncollected pay
- Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
Minimum requirements:
- High School diploma / GED (equivalent)
- 3 years of experience in HR operations and customer service
- Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Self-starter with initiative and requiring limited supervision
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong customer service skills
- Oracle HCM Experience
