Lead Specialist/Payment poster

Performs advanced, specialized work to assist in the organization and implementation of various projects and programs. Work is performed under minimal supervision within established policies with latitude for independent judgment. Works on special projects as assigned. May substitute for supervisor during his/her absence.

 

• Accurately post patient and insurance payments into the appropriate systems.

• Reconcile daily posting activity with system-generated reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Assist with the month-end reconciliation process to support financial reporting.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned, which may include trust fund reconciliation, approving cash receipts, processing refunds, and applying necessary write-offs in accordance with organizational policies.

High school plus six years experience in related field. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.

Salary : $14 - $32
