What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ranch Coordinator position at Texas Trail Rides?
Working ranch seeking an experienced, self- starting individual to join our leadership team!
Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of daily ranch operations, including trail rides, ranch activities, events, equine care, animal husbandry.
- Manage and supervise ranch staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Develop new procedures as company grows.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and care of livestock, including overseeing feeding, grooming, and medical treatment.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure the well-being of staff, guests and animals.
-Maintain inventory of ranch supplies
-Staff scheduling
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership skills to encourage team to become the best they can be.
-Lead, inspire and motivate staff while holding them accountable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and budgeting purposes.
- Previous equine/livestock experience.
- Knowledge of animal husbandry practices and basic veterinary care.
