Our manufacturing client in Richmond, IN is looking for an HR Generalist to join their growing business. You would be joining a well-established HR team with several generalists at this family owned and operated company. This is a full-time and on-site role.
The Human Resources (HR) Generalist assists in all HR operations, including recruitment, orientation, administration, training, team relations, and engagement activities. This role fosters a cooperative work environment and supports daily HR functions while reporting to the Senior Manager of Human Resources. Key responsibilities include managing administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with training and development, handling employment inquiries, and recruiting new team members. The HR Generalist also contributes to employee engagement, assists with disciplinary matters, and helps maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manages administrative tasks with accuracy, including recordkeeping and compliance documentation.
- Recruits and hires for various job roles while collaborating with department managers to define job requirements.
- Develops and markets job opportunities through digital platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Supports HR programs such as compensation, benefits, performance management, occupational health, safety, and training.
- Assists in planning team member events and handles inquiries from applicants and team members.
- Ensures compliance with employment laws and participates in team member disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Demonstrates strong computer skills, confidentiality, and professionalism in all interactions.
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of HR best practices, team benefits, and employment laws.
Qualifications :
Salary : $60K-$65K, plus monthly profit sharing, generous benefits, paid time off and more!
