The Academy Hotel, Colorado Springs is a family owned and operated full service hotel. We're known for our signature complimentary breakfast buffet and are looking for an experienced buffet Line Cook to lead the team.
Wages : $18.00 - $21.00 / hour based on experience.
Job Description | Responsibilities | Duties :
- Assist with stocking, set-up and break-down of kitchen and buffet stations.
- Inspect, clean, chop, portion, prepare and cook breakfast food items.
- Made to order omelets and eggs are prepared on the buffet line.
- Food should be prepped and cooked according to the recipe guidelines.
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills and fryers.
- Ensure proper breakdown, storage closing procedures meet Health & Safety Guidelines.
- Kitchen operation procedures and hygiene must meet food safety standards and regulations.
- Stock and rotate dry, frozen and refrigerated inventory items to meet standard guidelines.
- Prepare and run food items to buffet line with the cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Ensure food comes out to the buffet line as needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with kitchen crew, servers and customers.
- Order food from designated suppliers. Receive and store delivery items to meet Health Inspections.
- Minimize loss and waste.
