Job Summary:
We seek a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Business Development Manager in Inside Sales. This dual-role position requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for client engagement. The ideal candidate will leverage their engineering background to support sales efforts, provide technical guidance, and drive business growth.
Core Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and solicit new sales opportunities for assigned and prospective customer accounts.
- Collaborate with the Estimating Department to develop accurate quotations and act as the liaison between Accurate Tools and the customer.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline, aligning with the company's sales and new business pursuit strategy.
- Efficiently manage the CRM system for new and existing opportunities, monitoring booking forecasts, setting priorities, and following up on quotes for assigned accounts.
- Support the contract review process in coordination with operations, ensuring alignment with scope, terms, pricing, and competitive environment for each opportunity.
- Support active projects with assigned customers, assisting with change orders, customer approvals, and issue resolution as needed.
- Cultivate and maintain customer relationships through regular contact, follow-up reporting, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Develop multi-level customer relationships.
- Travel 25%, overnight travel may be required.
- First-year sales expectation of $1.5 to $3 million.
Required Qualifications:
- B2B industrial sales experience in CNC precision machining and fabrication.
- Demonstrated business development success and experience in transactional selling.
- Ability to motivate internal team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel at least 25% for prospecting, customer qualification, cold calling, face to face meetings, training, team meetings etc.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications (preferred).
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred).

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
