What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Services Engineer position at The Adecco Group?
Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a global manufacturer to recruit and hire a Full Time Field Services Engineer (HVAC / Hot Water Systems) to provide service and support to clients across the West Coast.
This position requires at least 75% travel within California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, and neighboring states. (Monday-Friday)
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to :
Travel to customer sites and provide technical services and installation support for water heating systems.
Ensure water heating systems and other company products work effectively
Visit customer sites to troubleshoot, repair, and service systems.
Provide technical guidance to customers and technicians.
Write detailed reports on system performance and issues.
Train and mentor new field technicians, and provide ongoing coaching and guidance.
Support product development and work closely with engineering teams to test and improve products.
Handle customer complaints and ensure issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
Perform inspections and coordinate start-up of systems for new installations.
Required :
75% travel within the assigned territory (3 out of 4 weeks per month, Monday-Friday)
Qualifications :
5 years of technical experience in water heaters, plumbing, HVAC, or similar products.
Experience with mechanical and electrical systems (e.g., gas supply, pumps, piping).
Customer service and field support experience.
Familiarity with PLCs, building integration systems, and national / state codes.
