We are currently offering $1,000.00 sign on bonuses! Bonuses are payable in two installments ($500.00 with first paycheck, and $500.00 after satisfactory completion of six-month probationary period).
What we’re looking for:
Rock Creek Foundation, an innovative non-profit organization located in Silver Spring, MD, is accepting PRN applications for our Residential Counselor position to support our Residential Rehabilitation Program. This program aims to help individuals with developmental disabilities, mental illnesses, and those experiencing emotional and/or behavioral challenges take charge of their own lives and develop daily living skills needed to thrive independently by providing direct support.

What you’ll do:
- Counsel residents in identifying and resolving social or other problems.
- Complete documentation regarding consumer’s daily activities, and incident reports as needed.
- Escort individuals on trips outside establishment for shopping or to obtain services as needed.
- Comply local, state, federal, and company regulations.
- Implement resident rehabilitation plans and record appropriate data.
- Record and submit all necessary documentation for billing.
What you’ll need:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and one (1) year related experience.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with less than two (2) points as well as current automobile insurance.
- Ability to move/lift up to 50lbs.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends for coverage.
What You’ll Get:
- A tentative work schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm. This schedule is subject to change depending on business needs.
- An hourly rate range is $20.00-20.50
