One of the divisions within The Amenity Collective, Amenity Pool Services, is looking for a full-cycle staff accountant to grow with our businesses. Amenity Pool Services provides expert pool cleaning, maintenance and, repair, and remodeling for both residential and commercial clients nationwide. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete full-cycle accounting activities and maintaining financial records and general ledger accounts
- Be an active contributor to month-end close preparing journal entries and related schedules.
- Ensure account reconciliations are up to date.
- Prepare supporting schedules for the auditors.
- Support the Controller in providing financial analysis of results to our operations.
- Continuous improvement of financial processes to drive better insight and efficiency.
- Support the Chief Accounting Officer and other accounting teammates, as necessary, as the business continues to grow.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- 1 years of accounting experience
- Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes
- Working knowledge of US GAAP
- Team player mentality
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Good problem-solving and time-management skills
- Experience with Workday is a plus
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus
- Proficient in Excel, with intermediate to advanced skills
- Deadline driven

COMPENSATION
The Staff Accountant position offers a salary of $65,000 - $70,000 per annum. The range above is a good faith estimate based on the expectations as laid out in the job description, however we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted. If that ends up being the case, the actual salary may vary from the estimates provided above.

This is a full-time position based out of The Amenity Collective's corporate headquarters in Owings Mills, MD.
