Position Title: Bookkeeper

Function Statement:
This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial and HR records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports to ensure the financial health and compliance of the business. This role supports budgeting, payroll, and tax preparation, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s financial operations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile company accounts.
- Prepare and file financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with General Manager regarding budgeting and forecasting.
- Oversee payroll processing and related tax filings.
- Collaborate with General Manager to monitor and manage expenses/assist with managing cash flow.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
- Audit accounting data and assist with other audits as needed.
- Maintain HR paperwork such as employment records and I-9s.
- Answer phones and assist with customer service, make reservations as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
