Job Description
Full Time and Part Time Front Desk Representatives needed at upscale Pet Resort and Salon!
Applicants with a flexible schedule are preferred. Part time employees are required to work a minimum of 3 days a week and 24-32 hours per week. Full time employees are scheduled 40 hours per week.
Applicants who cannot work weekends should not apply. Weekend shifts are required as that is our busiest time of the week.
Requirements:
The Resort Services Representative must have at least 2 years of office experience, as well as previous work experience with Microsoft Office and Windows.
A proficient to high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required and applicants must be able to use the program independently without instructions.
Previous work experience in sales and customer service is highly preferred.
A sincere love of pets and an understanding of their general care is preferred.
Please understand The Animal Den does not permit employees to bring their pets to work during their scheduled shifts. We are unable to accommodate employee pets in order to provide the best pet care possible to our trusting clients.
The schedule will vary working 3-5 days per week. We are open weekends, excluding major holidays. The selected candidate is likely to spend most of the day on their feet, actively servicing guests and assisting Resort Staff. Therefore, physical stamina is critical to being successful in this position.
Our Representative's start their day promptly at 6:45 AM, customers are usually waiting and ready to drop off their pets! The shifts vary but are typically 6:45 am - Close, 6:45 am - 1 pm, or 1 pm - Close. We close to customers at 6 pm each day and the Representatives usually leave between 6:15 and 7 pm depending on the timeliness of their closing work. If you are unable to be wide awake, dressed, ready and full of enthusiasm at 6:45 AM then please see other opportunities as this position is all about that.
