Position Summary
The Program Manager (PM) will collaborate with the Sacramento Director to oversee Sacramento programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong teamwork skills, both independently and within a team. They should excel at task prioritization, demonstrate flexibility and good judgment, handle confidential information with integrity, and have a drive for skill development. The PM will lead by example, exhibiting professionalism, patience, and empathy, fostering an environment for staff and members to flourish.
Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring Life Coaches, managing processing and evidence-based groups, ensuring fidelity to curricula. The PM will support ARC's data analyst in program evaluation and reporting. Additionally, they will assist in outreach efforts, connecting members with support meetings, retreats, outings, and community service events.
Essential Job Functions
- Directly supervises Life coaches, providing weekly supervision, reviewing case notes and documentation, and offering support with referrals and resources.
- Supports Life Coaches in their professional development and help them take on new responsibilities, such as overseeing grants, facilitating groups, and identifying training needs.
- Ensures timely completion of deliverables for Sacramento grants and contracts, meeting all reporting deadlines.
- Participates in bi-weekly or monthly check-ins with Member Services Directors, Workforce Director, and Development Director.
- Ensures Life Coaches complete weekly data entry, reviewing Neon at the end of each week.
- Oversees the smooth operation of ARC's new membership process, including reviewing new member forms, conducting orientations, and assisting Life Coaches in guiding members through the orientation process and providing necessary services.
- Manages Life Coach caseloads to ensure they adhere to the recommended case load limit.
- Assists in creating and adhering to budgets for new programs/projects.
- Participates in brainstorming sessions to assess the feasibility of new program opportunities.
- Supports ARC's Learning and Innovation team in program evaluation, including data collection and analysis.
- Aids in the development and mentorship of formerly incarcerated staff members for leadership positions at ARC.
- Supports the Sacramento director in maintaining high standards of office professionalism and fostering a safe and supportive office culture.
- Supervises day-to-day operations of assigned Sacramento programs.
- Performs any other tasks assigned by the Sacramento Director, Deputy Director, or Executive Director.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- At least four consecutive years of non-profit supervisory experience; or Four years of management experience with currently or formerly incarcerated individuals, including managing budgets, contracts, and supervising clinical students.
- Experience working in the juvenile or criminal justice fields.
- Management experience:Supervising staff.
- Managing contracts and budgets.
- Developing and writing reports, etc.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to support the team.
Skill Sets:
- Highly motivated and able to multitask.
- Team spirit with trust in coworkers and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Experience with case management or treatment-focused database is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are mandatory, with the ability to work in a team.
Salary/Benefits
- Pay rate is $60,000-$65,000.
