What You’ll Do
Provides nursing care to the Health Care Center residents.
Location: Arcadia Retirement Residence
- Schedule - Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
Pay Range
- $41.91 to $52.38 Hourly
Responsibilities
- Adheres to assigned work schedules and accurately uses the time and attendance system.
- Works as a team member in harmony with co-workers and other departments.
- Participates in Performance Improvement and Quality Assurance Programs.
- Interacts with residents/clients with patience, understanding and kindness in accord with Arcadia’s mission and core values.
- Exercises caution and good safety judgment in uncertain conditions or situations, and report and/or correct hazards, potential or actual.
- Respects and observes residents’/clients’ rights and privacy.
- Coordinates the completion of the resident assessments in accordance with Federal and State regulations and transmits to Center for Medicare Services (CMS) in a timely fashion.
- Assist with completion of the baseline care plan and ensure timely completion.
- Collates information and formulates individual health care plans for Health Care Center residents.
- Communicates with unit nursing staff regarding resident assessments, care plan interventions and changes in plans of care made at care plan meetings.
- Maintains care plan conference schedules within mandated time frames.
- Keeps informed of prevailing Federal and State regulations relating to resident assessments.
- Performs the necessary duties for emergency drills and situations such as fire, fire alarms, hurricanes, and other possible emergencies as outlined in the Disaster Response Manual.
- Ensures departmental compliance with corporate, state, and federal safety guidelines.
- Orient to RN roles within Arcadia and be willing to assume other RN roles if needed.
- Attend meetings relevant to MDS assessments and Care Planning as assigned.

Education/Experience
Degree or Diploma from accredited school of nursing.
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
- Current State of Hawaii Registered Nurse license
- Current RAC-CT through AAPACN(American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing)
Computer Skills
Proficiency in using a computer, which may include using such software as Vision or Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and other applicable software applications.
