Front Desk Agent for First and Second shifts (both are required)
We are a Boutique property on Clearwater Beach, with a strong presence on Airbnb and VRBO. Our focus is on providing the best possible guest experience from check in to check out and we are looking for a skilled Guest Service Agent to continue their career with our expanding company, covering the 7am - 3pm and 3pm to 11pm shifts. With two successful condo hotels opened since 2021, and more planned over the next 10 years, your focus on offering superior service can take you farther than you ever imagined. All of our managers have been promoted from within, allowing for career growth not found in many lodging establishments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, providing excellent customer service, and managing reservations. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The Front Desk Agent will also be responsible for communicating with Housekeeping and maintenance, taking payments, answering phones, and ensuring the front desk area is clean and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
- Answer phones
- Make and confirm guest reservations made either directly or thru one of the reservation platforms
- Work with various third-party platforms including Booking.com and Expedia
- Maintain a neat and orderly front desk area.
- Provide information about the hotel, its services, and local attractions.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or requests they may have
Experience:
- Previous experience in hotel Front Desk procedures
- Knowledge of night audit procedures is a plus
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to anticipate needs and exceed expectations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Multilingual or bilingual proficiency is an asset
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and composure
- Proficient in using hotel management software and computer systems
