Job Summary: The Bark Park Engagement Specialist will focus on creating memorable experiences for dogs and their owners by facilitating activities, events, and personalized customer interactions. This role will also manage The Bark Park's social media presence to engage the community and promote services.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily activities, ensuring smooth operations across all areas.
- Lead and support team members, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Monitor dogs during playtime to ensure safety and positive interactions.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and promote memberships and services.
- Oversee and maintain clean and organized areas for boarding dogs and the facility.
- Manage The Bark Park's social media accounts, creating content, engaging with followers, and promoting events and services.
- Develop and implement social media campaigns to increase engagement and brand awareness.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in customer service, event planning, or social media management.
- Creativity and ability to generate engaging digital content.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings for events.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event coordination, community engagement, or social media marketing.
- Familiarity with pet care, animal behavior, or working in a dog-friendly environment.
- Proficiency in using design and video editing tools for social media content.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
