Overview
We are seeking an Industrial Water Treatment Operator for assignment in Denver, Colorado. The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks in the operations, maintenance, repair and calibration of equipment at our clients industrial water/wastewater treatment facility.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
** This position requires a Colorado Water Operator License **
** This position has a pay rate of $31 - $35/hr **
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and direction to plant operators, mechanics and industrial technicians
- Operate, monitor and calibrate motors, generators, gauges, valves and gates to regulate processes
- Determine and set flow rates, pressure, distribution and chemical dosage
- Maintain a log of operations and process adjustments as necessary
- Observe variances and interpret meter/gauge readings
- Collect samples and perform laboratory tests
- Process, haul and apply residuals in accordance with regulations
- Utilize data management tools
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- A valid Drivers License
- A valid Colorado Water Operator Certification
- Advanced experience with industrial prodiction techniques and equipment
Salary : $31 - $35
