Hotel Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. As a vital part of our hospitality service, you will ensure that our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. This role is also responsible for laundry and on certain days will require breakfast setup or breakdown.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Ensure all public areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
• Change linens and towels as required, ensuring that all bedding is fresh and inviting.
• Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established housekeeping procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist with floor care tasks as needed, including carpet cleaning and polishing hard surfaces.
• Wash & fold laundry.
• Setup or breakdown of complimentary hotel breakfast.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness.

Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with hotel operations and food service a plus!
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards consistently.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
