What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Analyst position at The Bolton Group?
- BA Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Budgeting/Forecasting
- transactional based (A/P, A/R)
- Month end reporting
- Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, etc.) as needed, performing account analysis, and developing explanations for significant variances.
- Review general ledger accounts and perform regular reconciliations of accounts as needed for accuracy, completeness and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- A bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 2 - 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic financial principles, including accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve financial discrepancies and operational issues.
- Adept in analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
