About the Role (job title and summary):
The Sales Manager plays a key role in driving wholesale sales and expanding market penetration in collaboration with the Wholesale Manager and Brand Ambassador team. This position is responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual wholesale net revenue targets while serving as the primary point of contact between Acreage CCF NJ and other wholesale vendors and purchasers in New Jersey. With a strong sales-driven and results-oriented approach, the Sales Manager ensures effective relationship management and strategic growth within the assigned territory.Excellent work environment with a full benefit package offered including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance, short and long-term disability insurance, paid time off, holidays, pet insurance, and other paid leaves of absence.
How you’ll make a difference (required duties and responsibilities):
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Selling Responsibilities
- Minimally achieve monthly and quarterly budgets
- Coordinate and implement 3rd part wholesale software (e.g., Leaflink, Repsly, Seed Talent)
- Coordinate with Processing and Inventory teams on product availability and physical preparation of orders
- Prepare product for sale and transport via Seed-to-Sale software
- Assis with physical transport of product as needed
- Generate invoices; assist the Administration and Finance teams to follow up with vendors for consistent timely payment
- Plan and assist with “pop-up” events at the customer store locations to help with brand activation and sell-through with support from the Brand Ambassador
- Regularly visit store locations to check in and grow account revenue
- Build branded displays on-site, in customer locations with support from the Brand Ambassadors
- Prepare and present on-site budtender training using provided educational decks in Seed Talent to ensure brand knowledge consistently across the market
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and other industry related events.
General Responsibilities
- Responsible for recordkeeping of all pertinent purchasing and wholesale documents; requisition forms, vendor PO, manifests, invoices, product credits, etc.
- Maintain a department-shared calendar, schedule with all selling and purchasing dates and activity
- Maintain travel logs, notes and forms via Repsly
- Follow up and work with vendors regarding any product issues
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Complete other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business
Skills to be Successful (minimum qualifications):
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of sales or relevant experience – required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

- Proficiency using Seed-to-Sale software, Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office programs including Gmail, Calendar Docs, Slides, Sheets, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Retail environment involves frequent standing, sitting, and walking.
