What are the responsibilities and job description for the Global Missions Director position at The Bridge Church?
OVERVIEW
The Bridge Church is a fast-growing church in Middle Tennessee that exists to be with Jesus and become like Him - for the sake of the world. We are located in a growing community with a passion to reach our cities and beyond with the gospel. We are looking for a Global Missions Director, someone who is mission minded, desires to see the gospel shared to our world through the unique partnerships we’ve created and the incredible generosity of our church family.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy Development: Work with Lead Team and elders to review and revise the current comprehensive global missions strategy articulated in the Global Missions Playbook.
Partnership Management: Build and maintain relationships with mission partners/organizations, providing support, resources, oversight, and accountability.
Mission Trips: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of mission trips, ensuring safety, cultural sensitivity, and the spiritual growth of participants.
Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and mentor volunteers and leaders for opportunities to serve within the context of Global Missions, as partner liaisons, event coordinators, or trip leaders.
Event Coordination: Plan, recruit, and execute for global missions events (i.e. Love Global) as needed.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the global missions budget, ensuring responsible allocation of resources and financial transparency.
Auditing: Regularly assess the impact of global missions partners to ensure alignment with our church’s mission and vision, as well as ensuring all partner criteria is met as outlined in the Missions Playbook approved by the elders.
Ministries Collaboration: Work closely with other church ministries (Bridge Kids, Bridge Students, Bridge Groups, etc.) to integrate global missions into the broader church activities, ensuring alignment and collaborative support.

SCHEDULE: Sunday-Thursday HOURS: 15-20 hrs (Part Time)
