What are the responsibilities and job description for the Music Director position at The Bridge Church?
OVERVIEW
The Bridge Church is a multisite church in Middle Tennessee that exists to be with Jesus and become like Him for the sake of the world. We are located in a growing community with a passion to reach our cities with the gospel. This desire has created the need for a Music Director to work with our Worship Director in being the primary music director for Bridge worship environments.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Music Director will be a part of the Worship & Production department that seeks to come alongside the vision of our church by facilitating a culture where people leave our Worship Gatherings saying, “Surely God is in this place.” This person will work with the leadership team to program worship gatherings that align with the Bridge’s vision.

- Ability to see and articulate the leadership behaviors of The Bridge
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Has positive energy, solution oriented, and works very well with others
- A proven track record of people management and worship leadership
- Is knowledgeable in Planning Center, Ableton and Track Creation
- 3-5 years experience in music and/or related field
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Function as the primary music director for the all Bridge’s worship environments and lead weekly at the Spring Hill campus.
- Equip our worship and production teams with resources to lead on a weekly basis for all events and to grow in their musicianship.
- Help oversee DVLP and the onboarding of new team members.
- Music direct and help lead our Bridge Student worship environments.
- Raise up and empower campus-specific coaches & volunteer staff to grow volunteers teams.
- Work with the Worship Directors to see the vision of our weekend services accomplished and done with distraction free excellence.
- Collaborate with the Columbia Worship Director to coordinator worship set lists and volunteers for each campus.
- Work with Production Director to ensure production elements are ready to go for Sunday services.
- Coach, disciple, and care for worship and production volunteers across all teams.
- Learn from pacesetters and other church’s best practices regarding their approach to worship ministry.
- Other duties as assigned.

HOURS: 25 hrs (must be available for special events & meetings, etc as needed)
