Job Description
In this role, the Director of Fundraising will partner with the Executive Director to strategize, implement, and monitor various fundraising initiatives targeting individual and major giving for The Bridge House. The Fundraising Director performs as an inspiring ambassador of The Bridge House into the community and is responsible for developing relationships between individuals and the organization that inspire a prospective donor to support at a significant and sometimes transformational level. The FD will oversee campaigns and events intended to bring in donations for the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary Responsibility:
- Develop and maintain a major donor pipeline: Identify, engage, solicit, and steward relationships with major donors to secure significant gifts.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Lead annual giving efforts, including online campaigns, to engage a broad base of donors.
- Oversee the annual fundraising event, from planning through execution, to meet revenue and engagement goals.
- Manage donor stewardship processes to ensure all donors feel valued and connected to our mission.
- Track and report fundraising data in Bloomerang, providing monthly output reports to the Executive Director.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Direct experience in nonprofit development with success in creating fundraising initiatives specific to individual and major giving.
- Ability to develop and manage fundraising-related marketing plans with a track record of enhancing overall mission awareness as well as giving goals.
· Sound knowledge in strategic planning, budgeting and monitoring organization goals.
· Talent for fostering successful relationships and partnerships with key external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, social media platforms, fundraising and communication platforms, as well as donor database systems, Bloomerang is a plus.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce documents like stewardship communications, talking points, pitches, reports, etc.
- Passion for The Bridge House Mission and desire to work with a committed team
- Target-focused and results-driven with the ambition to drive activity forward while incorporating the mind of a strategic thinker to see the bigger picture and be decisive on the health of the organization and its team.
- Live in or near Wilson County area
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field is preferred or four years’ experience in similar role. Non-profit experience preferred.

The Bridge House is dedicated to the mission of leading youth out of homelessness and empowering them to live a life that will change a life. We provide housing for children in DCS custody, support young adults aging out of foster care aged 18 to 20, and assist foster, adoptive, and birth families with wrap-around support. Pay: $60,000.00 - $79,000.00 per year
