What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Materials Manager position at The Bridger Group?
Our client is a leading manufacturer of window screens and other window product components. They are looking for a Regional Materials Manager to join their growing team. This person will oversee the flow of materials from procurement to distribution, and ensure that the right materials are available to meet production and customer needs.
The ideal candidate can live in a commutable distance to Elizabethville, PA; Elizabethton, TN; or Hialeah, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory levels to ensure deliveries occur within timelines.
- Ensure accuracy of the perpetual inventory system.
- Collaborate with other departments(e.g. production, finance, quality control) to ensure that material requirements are met.
- Review current market conditions related to but not limited to cost, availability and quality.
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
- Optimize intercompany transfers to reduce cost and ensure optimal supply chain.
- Travel up to 50% annually.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in applicable field (e.g. Business Management, Supply Chain)
- 3 years of experience in multisite materials planning
- APICS certification (preferred)
- Experience with ERP systems, EPICOR (preferred)
- Knowledge of industry best practices for S&OP, and value chain analytics
